Chevrolet's first All-Electric Silverado - Future Electric pickup

Chevrolet's first All-Electric Silverado pickup to feature technology Turn all four wheels like a GMC Hummer EV

Chevrolet has announced that the first electric Silverado pickup will arrive soon with rear-axle steering technology and 24-inch alloy wheels. Chevrolet will soon be producing its electric pickup on the Silverado to compete in the electric pickup market with Ford, Rivian and Tesla. The All-Electric Silverado will feature an Ultium battery platform and it offers different driving options and battery sizes depending on the car's options.

Chevrolet has not yet announced an official launch date however we can conclude that this model will be released in early 2023 or sooner. Chevrolet chief executive General Motor (GM) has confirmed that the Electric Chevy Truck will offer a range of 400 miles or 643 km on a full charge. As for the four-wheel-folding technology, it will not come with crab technology or Crap Walk Mode like the Hummer EV. It should be noted that the technology of Crap Walk and Four Wheel Steering, it is different in that Crap Walk, it has the ability to turn all four wheels but the four wheels are in the same direction which makes the car move like an animal. Crab, while Four Wheel Steering technology it can turn all four wheels in opposite directions, making the car more capable of driving on sharp curves.

In particular if we look at the Tank-turn Feature technology of Rivian R1T electric pickup, it is completely different from Crap Walk and Four Wheel Steering technology, it can rotate from front to back immediately like a tank based. The four electric motors work separately with each one on each wheel of the car. When one wants to turn the car backwards, two wheels will turn forward and the other wheels will turn backwards at the same time.
