The German brand has just reported that from now on a new version is added to the Cayenne range. This is the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, a truck that was configured for maximum performance and excellent behavior. According to what they reported, for its creation they managed to combine outstanding dynamic qualities and great versatility for daily use, thus highlighting that it is not a track vehicle but one designed for both purposes: handling and everyday use.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood that is capable of delivering up to 631 horsepower. This figure puts it above the Cayenne Turbo Coupe, which has 89 less horsepower. In terms of torque, the German brand noted that the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT manages to increase torque 59 pound-feet over the coupe variant, delivering a total of 627 pound-feet. With this engine configuration, they indicated in Porsche, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds, managing to cut 6 tenths of a second to the other variant. Porsche recalled that this version was the one that managed to set a new record on the Nürburgring circuit, covering 20 kilometers and 832 meters in just 7 minutes 38.9 seconds: the shortest time for any production SUV.
The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT integrates more aggressive lines, and is available only as a four-seat coupe SUV. Another key difference from the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupé is the height of the footboard, and it is that in Porsche they highlighted that the Turbo GT is 17 millimeters lower than its younger sister. This change also involved a modification of chassis components and active control systems, which were optimized to improve the behavior and performance of the vehicle. The operation of the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) System was also tweaked, focusing much more on performance than anything else. All of these factors contribute to delivering better grip and stability, and in conjunction with the optimized Porsche Torque Vectoring system, they allow more control over the torque sent to each wheel. Also, the front wheels are wider and have a camber 0.45 degrees greater than in the conventional Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT features a new body color, aerodynamic features such as the apron, lip, larger side air intakes, carbon fiber contoured roof, fender extensions, 22-inch Neodyme-colored wheels, and license plates. Carbon fiber sides for the roof spoiler. The new Cayenne Turbo GT also integrates the new infotainment system of the range, a system with a more intuitive and logical operation compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
